Rolly Gassmann own around 2 hectares of the Oberer Weingarten a marly-limestone vineyard in Rorschwihr (where Rolly Gassmann is also located just off the square by the charch) which is planted solely with Gewurztraminer.
The name Rolly Gassmann is derived from the marriage of Marie-Thérèse Rolly and Louis Gassmann.
